System requirements

• PC with minimum 200 MHz Pentium-class processor
• 64 MB RAM
• 32-speed CD-ROM drive
• Windows^® 95, 98, 98 Se, NT4, 2000, ME, or XP
• 1.1 GB hard disk space to run the software from the CD-ROM and 1.7 GB to install the OED to the hard disk (CD validation required every 90 days)
• SVGA monitor: 800 x 600 pixels, 16-bit setting

Please note: the Oxford English Dictionary (Second Edition) on CD-ROM version 3.1 is available in a single-user PC version only. It is not networkable and there is no Mac version. An online version of the Oxford English Dictionary is available by annual subscription.
